Episode 214: Don’t Get Tricked by the Latest Wellness Trends

Ladies, today, I’m here to… complain—or at least, say one thing: I’m tired of being told my salad is killing me; and I bet, so are you!

Health advice can be so overwhelming, especially with the vast amount of information available on the internet, coming from doctors, fitness influencers, wellness gurus, and everyone else in between. And what’s worse is that a lot of the advice we read often contradicts itself: eat meat, don’t eat meat, dairy is bad for you, dairy is good for you, oat milk is the way to go, oat milk will raise your blood sugar and give you diabetes, etc…

So it’s no surprise that we’re all so tired of keeping track of all the things we should and shouldn’t use or consume.

This is why, in this episode, I’ll be addressing the overload of conflicting health advice that leaves many of us confused and overwhelmed. From keto to carnivore to fearing vegetables for their oxalates, I will be unpacking how trends dominate the wellness space and distract us from sustainable, common-sense approaches to health.

If you've ever felt paralyzed by the contradictions in wellness advice, this episode is your permission slip to simplify.
